v1.4

Latest
Improved
- On a phone, the generator is three clear steps. What are we making? Pick an SEO article, a product description or a social post from three large tiles. What should it be about? Type your topic. In which language? Tap one of five buttons. Before, the text type and the language were hidden in small drop-down lists that were easy to miss.
- "Learn more" is now a set of tiles. What Blitz can do, Blitz vs ChatGPT, publishing to WordPress, prices and questions each have their own tile, in place of a long list of collapsed rows.
- A tile opens its section in a panel that slides up from the bottom. Close it with the Close button, a tap outside the panel or your phone's Back button, and you are exactly where you were on the page. Back never takes you off the site by accident.
- The prices tile is always current. It reads the free and Pro plans from the same price list as the Pricing page, in your language, so it can never show an old price.
- Below the generator, visitors now see just sign-in and sign-up. The generator at the top of the page is the way to try Blitz. The second, full editor further down repeated it, so it is gone for visitors and opens once you sign in. The page ends much sooner, on a phone and on a computer.
v1.3
24 September 2026
Added
- Competitor topics are built on real search data. Enter a competitor's site and you get the keywords it actually ranks for in Google: its position, monthly search volume, keyword difficulty and the exact page that ranks. The data comes from DataForSEO. Topic ideas are written only from that table, and an idea that points at a keyword that isn't in the table is dropped. Before this, the AI guessed the site's niche from the domain name alone and invented topics to match.
- You pick the search region. Ukraine, the United States, Poland, Germany or Spain. It defaults to the language you use the app in, and you can change it for each analysis or each monitored article. Rankings in Kyiv and in Berlin are different lists, so asking the wrong country gives you the wrong answer.
- A clear allowance for competitor analyses. Free: one analysis. Pro: 5 a month. Max: 30. Agency: 150. You can see how many you have left before you press the button. If someone analysed the same site in the same region within the last 14 days, the saved result opens instantly and doesn't count against your allowance.
Improved
- Rank monitoring checks each article in its own country. Every monitored article keeps the region it was added with, so a Ukrainian article is measured in Ukrainian Google and a German one in German Google. Articles added before this change keep the region they were measured in, so their history stays comparable.
- Competitor keywords come sorted by search volume. The table opens with the queries that bring a site its traffic, not the ones that happen to sort first.
- If the data provider fails, the analysis is not charged: the slot goes back to your allowance.
- On the free plan, your one analysis is used up only once you have actually received topic ideas.
Fixed
- A monitored article without a keyword no longer gets a made-up position. A Google position only exists for a specific search query. An article added with no keyword got a random number marked "≈ demo" instead of an error, and the check still used a credit. A keyword is now required when you add an article. If a check has nothing real to measure, it stops and the credit goes back.
- Competitor tables for large sites showed the wrong keywords. On the first day, a big store came back with a hundred of its #1 rankings in alphabetical order, starting with product codes, instead of its most-searched queries. The table is now sorted by search volume, and tables saved under the old order are no longer shown.
- A monitored page that isn't in Google's first 100 results now says "not in top 100". It used to show "#101" next to an "OK" badge, as if 101 were a position.
Legal
- The Privacy Policy now states that the competitor domains you enter are sent to DataForSEO to look up their rankings. The domain is all that is sent, with nothing about you or your account.
- Section 7 of the Terms has been rewritten. It now says what competitor and monitoring data are: publicly available Google search data, estimated by a third party, and not a guarantee of traffic or rankings. It also says these features must not be used to track private sites or specific people.
v1.2
20 September 2026
Added
- The generator is the first thing you see on a phone. Topic field, content type, language and one filled button, all on the opening screen with no scrolling. It used to sit around eleven screens down, on the far side of a login form — so the quickest way to try the product was also the hardest one to find.
- Long sections fold away on a phone. Features, the comparison table, integrations, FAQ and pricing are now single rows you tap to open. The landing page went from roughly fourteen screenfuls of scrolling to five. On a desktop nothing moved: that layout is unchanged.
- A Settings tab on the phone. The bottom bar now carries five tabs — Generate, My texts, Competitors, Monitoring, Settings. Settings previously lived in a sidebar footer that is hidden below 768px, so it could only be reached through the account menu.
Improved
- Articles are researched first, then written. Generation is now two steps. The first searches Google and returns facts together with the page each one came from. The second writes the article with no search at all, and may only use specifics from that list. Every figure, date, price and name in the finished text traces back to a page, and the article shows which page and how recent it is.
- An answer that ignored the search tool is now rejected. Attaching a search tool does not oblige a model to use it: one of ours was answering from memory and signing plausible-looking sources under it. A reply that carried the tool but shows no search behind it now counts as a failed attempt, and the request moves on to a model that does search.
- The admin panel works on a phone. It had no mobile layout at all — the fixed sidebar took more than half of a 390px screen, and the tables were clipped mid-row with no way to reach the remaining columns.
- The phone workspace now tells you where you are: every screen highlights its own navigation item, including the one that never did.
- Nothing slides or fades in while you are reading on a phone. The reveal animations are off below 768px.
- The cookie banner no longer covers a third of the first screen, and both of its buttons stay reachable on the smallest phones.
Fixed
- Articles no longer stop mid-sentence. The model's hidden reasoning was competing with the article for one token ceiling, and the budget did not allow for languages that need more tokens per word. Both are now sized deliberately instead of hopefully.
- A generation that gets cut off no longer costs a credit. The refund that already existed for an outright failure now covers truncation too, including the free plan's language slot.
- Verification and password-reset emails survive a rejected provider key. During a live outage the mail provider refused every send, which left new accounts unable to verify and produced nothing but one line in a log. Those failures are now surfaced instead of swallowed.
Removed
- Rank monitoring is no longer sold. It is gone from the Max plan's feature list, the comparison table, the pricing FAQ and the upgrade screens. The feature itself is untouched for everyone who already has it — the tab, the weekly checks and the credits all keep working.
- Two claims we could not stand behind — "no made-up numbers" and "verified data" — are gone from the landing page. What replaced them describes what actually happens: facts are collected in a separate step before the writing starts, and each figure carries its source.
v1.1
4 September 2026
Added
- Writing that doesn't sound like AI. Every one of the 8 content types is now written against the tells that give machine text away: flat sentence rhythm, filler openers, decorative dashes, the eager-assistant tone. Cliché lists are matched to the language you generate in — Ukrainian clichés for Ukrainian, not English ones translated. In our own measurements the generated text came back with zero cliché phrases, zero decorative em dashes and zero semicolons, and its shortest sentence dropped from 10 words to 4.
- Brand Voice from your own writing. Paste 2–3 things you have already written and press Analyze my voice. You get a plain-text description of your style — sentence rhythm, vocabulary, the constructions you actually use, what you avoid, how you address the reader. You can read it, edit it, then save it like any other voice. Available on Pro and above; writing a style guide by hand stays free on every plan.
Improved
- Your voice now outranks our house style, and facts outrank both. If you genuinely write the way our style rules call a cliché, your voice wins — it is your writing, not a mistake. What your voice cannot do is drop the structure a template requires, or talk the model into stating something it cannot verify.
- Long style guides no longer crowd out live Google Search results in the same request, so grounded articles keep the fresh data you are paying for. Existing voices are untouched.
Security
- Brand voices and custom AI instructions are now passed to the model as data in their own block rather than as top-priority commands, so no saved text can weaken the rule that stops the model inventing figures, dates or sources. We tested this directly: a style guide demanding statistics and citations produced no invented percentages, no benchmark scores and no made-up sources.
- Style guides are screened on save, the same way custom AI instructions already were.
v1.0.2
2 September 2026
Added
- Privacy-first visitor analytics. Cookie-free traffic measurement, plus Google Analytics that loads only if you accept the cookie banner — with Google's ad-personalisation signals switched off. Both are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Fixed
- Card payments now go through reliably. Three separate problems in the new payment provider integration were fixed, including one where a saved customer record could go stale and block checkout — that case now recovers by itself instead of failing.
- The plan badge in the sidebar is clickable on paid plans, not only on Free.
